Site 4
Our newest site
Another private creekside site, opening by the end of 2026.
bring the whole crew
Great for large groups.
Every site is its own huge private paddock, with room for the vans, the tents and a proper game of cricket. More than 8 of you? Book two sites, or all three.
Planning a wedding or event?
We can organise portaloos, generators, tables and chairs, and put a package together for your group.
“We had heaps of space for the caravans and for everyone to kick a footy and a game of cricket, not having to stress about cars and other campers driving through.”
Let us know what you're planning and we'll put a package together.
Meet your neighbours.
Most mornings the herd wanders past to see who's moved in. The kids love it.
We're two brothers who look after every site ourselves. We come from three generations of farming, and we love sharing our property with our guests.
Your stay helps our family keep doing what we love: running our dairy farm in Canungra.
Tom & Patrick
Mornings like this. Nights like that.
Birdsong with your morning cuppa, and more stars than you've seen in years. Pack a jumper: it gets cold at night.
Wake up to this
A cuppa by the creek, with birdsong all around. Turn the sound up.
Fall asleep under that
Just the fire, the sound of the creek and the stars wheeling overhead.
Things to do nearby
Rainforest walks, wineries and great food, all a short drive from camp.
Sarabah Estate Vineyard
Our neighbours down the road, or a 30-minute walk. Wood-fired pizzas Friday to Sunday evenings, the Chalet Bistro and wine tastings.

O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat
Up the mountain in Lamington National Park. Do the free Tree Top Walk, feed the king parrots and grab lunch at the café.

Tamborine Mountain
An easy rainforest walk to Curtis Falls, then coffee and browsing along Gallery Walk.
O'Reilly's Vineyard & Mountview Alpaca Farm
Mountview Alpaca Farm sits within O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards. Feed and walk the alpacas, then stay for a wine tasting.
Canungra
Groceries, fuel, ice, firewood and camping supplies. Plus a pub feed at the Canungra Hotel, coffee at The Metz or El Social, and pies from The Outpost.
Binna Burra
Waterfall and lookout walks on the other side of Lamington National Park. The road isn't built for big caravans, so leave the van at camp.

Good to know
The address, directions and gate code come in an info pack by email the week before your stay.
Is it really private?
Yes. We only ever take one group per site, and each site is its own huge paddock on the creek, with its own private toilet just for your group.
What's at each site?
Your own private toilet, only for your group's use, plus creek frontage with swimming holes, a fire pit and loads of flat, grassy space. There's no power or drinking water.
How much does it cost, and is there a minimum stay?
Pick your dates in the booking window and you'll see your price straight away, before you send anything. Kids camp free. There's a 2-night minimum, and weekend stays (Friday or Saturday nights) are a minimum of 4 adults. Midweek, there's no minimum on numbers.
Can we bring the kids and the dog?
Absolutely. Kids camp free and dogs are welcome.
Can we have a campfire?
Yes, every site has a fire pit. We'll send you information on where to buy firewood locally in your information pack.
Can we bring a caravan?
Yes. We regularly host caravans, camper trailers, campervans, rooftop tents and plain old tents, and all vehicles can access our property.
We're a big group. Can you fit us?
Yes. Each site is enormous, and you can book two or all three sites. For events we can organise portaloos, power generators, tables and chairs. Let us know what you're planning and we'll put a package together.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 1pm and check-out is by 11am. We'll always endeavour to offer you an early check-in if possible.
Where are you, and how far is it from Brisbane and the Gold Coast?
We're at Sarabah, near Canungra in Queensland's Scenic Rim, an hour from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We email you the address, directions and gate code the week before your stay. Use Google Maps, not Apple Maps, to find us.
Is there phone reception?
Generally good Telstra reception only. There's no Optus or Vodafone coverage.
What if it rains, or we need to cancel?
We have a generous wet weather policy: if wet weather or heavy rain hits, we'll offer you new dates. And if you cancel 21 days or more before your stay, you get a 100% refund.
Are there any rules?
Just a few: take all your rubbish home, keep the gates shut and locked (we have cattle), and no fishing. Hooks and fishing line left in the creek are dangerous for swimmers, and for our platypus.
